No plans for a Sourcesafe.Net tool in MS future.

this is one thing i forgot to say in an earlier message.

Appearently , accroding to the MSFT rep. that talked to us,VSS will only be enhanced , but nothing more. there will not be a more robust version of it, or nothing like the more professionl Version Control systems like rational or PVCS.

A nice official word from Microsoft on this would be nice. We're moving away from VSS here anyway, I showed a few people the extra features on CVS and the we ran a few projects to see what would happen. So far the CVS projects beat VSS hands down when it comes to functionality, reliability, speed, usability... Bye bye Visual SourceSafe. You'll not be missed.
