My journey towards the hardware side is almost complete. I've hit rock bottom and we're looking at the values going over a databus from a 586 PC card to an FPGA to try to figure out what's going on. That's it, I'm an embedded engineer again. My copy of the February edition of ACM Transactions in embedded computer systems came today, so it must be true.
